SCPA Education

SCPA Education is a branding that SCPA-South East Producers is prepared to give to educational courses or events that are run by SCPA Members and which meet certain relevance, quality and risk management requirements.  SCPA Education courses and events are covered by SCPA’s public liability insurance.

Full Members of SCPA can apply for SCPA endorsement of their activity by contacting the SCPA Education Co-ordinator at education@scpa.org.au.

The member needs to provide the necessary information to the SCPA Education Co-ordinator at least 5 weeks in advance of course/event date. The SCPA Education Co-ordinator will arrange for the application to be evaluated, seek additional information and/or changes if needed, and submit a recommendation the SCPA Executive.

The SCPA Member will be notified of the outcome and if successful, will be provided with a SCPA logo that is to appear on publicity materials and handouts. The words “This activity is run in association with SCPA-South East Producers” should also appear. The SCPA Member should also submit advertising copy for publication in SCPA News or other relevant SCPA publications such as SCPA’s Facebook page.

If the course/event is accepted into the SCPA Education program it will be covered by SCPA public liability insurance.
